Performing Arts

From the drama on stage to the scenes in the lobby, The Projects Group understands the dynamic performing arts environment.

Performing Arts venues are true experiential environments.

From the anticipation of arrival, until the final curtain call, the patron experience must be high-caliber, welcoming, and memorable. The Projects Group deeply understands the complexities required for guest experience, streamlined staff flow, and operational success.

This highly technical understanding has allowed The Projects Group to address owner challenges during programming and design, considering circulation and flow; while ensuring appropriate acoustics, lighting, and auditorium design achieve optimal audience experience.

MEP Systems

TPG understands the complex systems required to support various performance spaces and knows the appropriate engineering consultants required to make delivery successful. Our oversight will ensure appropriate consultant selection for your venue size, audiences, and performance types.

Acoustics

Understanding the geometry of space, sound design, materials selection, and more are critical components of acoustical design in performing arts spaces. TPG knows that acoustical consultant needs can vary depending on size of performance space, audience demographics, and more. Our relationships with trusted consultants will allow us to identify the best needs for your project to achieve necessary acoustical ratings.

Seating & Auditorium Design

We know the importance of establishing immersive vertical and horizontal site lines for performing arts patrons. TPG will identify and manage experienced design consultants to maximize production experience and engagement, being mindful of both front and back of house functions and flow.

Lighting

Lighting design is paramount in creating dynamic, evocative performing arts experiences. Balancing house lighting with performance lighting is critical to the overall experience from balcony levels to the proscenium. TPG understands the relationship between these experiential spaces.
