Daniel Eida
Project Manager
Daniel Eida brings 6 years of project management experience across cultural, residential, and civic developments. He has managed projects at every stage, from preconstruction planning and budgeting through design coordination and construction oversight. His portfolio includes the $508M rehabilitation of 1,700 affordable housing units across 89 buildings for the New York City Housing Authority, as well as the $150M Memphis Brooks Museum of Art—a new downtown cultural landmark designed by Herzog & de Meuron. In Brooklyn, Daniel has overseen several high-profile projects for the Brooklyn Public Library system, including the $135M phased renovation of the Central Library, the new Greenpoint Branch currently tracking LEED Platinum certification, and the adaptive reuse of a retail space at One Clinton into the new Brooklyn Heights Library. He has also managed large-scale residential rehabilitations, such as the 145,000 SF Cadman Towers complex, and affordable housing developments like Clinton Housing Site 7.
With a background in engineering, Daniel approaches projects with a technical eye for MEP and structural systems, while maintaining a focus on stakeholder collaboration and clear communication to resolve challenges and keep projects moving forward. His experience includes navigating agency approvals, coordinating multiple funding sources, negotiating access agreements, and delivering projects in occupied and sensitive environments with minimal disruption.
Beyond his project work, Daniel has developed expertise in building energy compliance, creating analytical tools to guide owners through New York City’s Local Law 97 requirements. He is an Engineer in Training (EIT), a LEED Green Associate, and OSHA/HAZWOPER certified, and remains active in the industry as a Core Member of the Urban Green Council. His commitment to sustainable design and resilient urban development aligns with TPG’s mission to deliver projects that serve communities for generations to come.
