Joe is a seasoned Global Real Estate and Construction Program Manager with extensive experience leading high-impact projects across automotive, pharmaceutical, and medical device industries. With a proven track record in strategic facility planning, construction management, and real estate portfolio optimization, Joe specializes in driving large-scale capital initiatives that enable business growth and operational excellence.
Throughout his career, Joe has managed over $450M in global capital projects and real estate transactions, overseeing the development of world-class manufacturing, research, distribution, and office facilities. As a key leader at Alcon, he was instrumental in establishing the company’s global real estate management office, overseeing 20+ leased sites across North America and Central America, and successfully co-leading facility separations during Alcon’s $29.8B spinoff from Novartis.
Joe's expertise extends to PMO leadership and site master planning. He has led comprehensive campus-wide master planning initiatives, analyzing key operational locations to optimize facility utilization, future expansion potential, and cost control. His ability to align real estate decisions with corporate growth strategies has played a pivotal role in streamlining global real estate portfolios and maximizing operational efficiencies. His leadership on design and construction teams has been critical in delivering complex, high-value infrastructure projects—including the 2014 SUV model launch for General Motors and the renovation of over 1 million square feet of operational spaces at Alcon.
At TPG, Joe leads project delivery for manufacturing, life sciences, and technical facility clients. He is passionate about partnering with organizations to implement strategic capital projects that support long-term success.
Joe holds an Executive MBA from Texas Christian University and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Baylor University. He is a certified PMP and QPCR, a recipient of the Neeley Scholar Award, and an active member of the Project Management Institute.
