The Projects Group provided Owner’s Representation services to oversee the design and construction of an exciting new performing arts venue as part of Richmond, Virginia's overall revitalization.
The project included the construction of a new 250-seat multipurpose community theatre, a jazz club, and the renovation of a historic 1,800-seat theatre. The Theatre, located in Dominion Energy Center, features state-of-the-art lighting and acoustics, a large stage, and 20 dressing rooms. The main lobby includes two refreshment bars, a concierge station, and a gift shop, with two additional refreshment bars upstairs.
The facility encompasses an entire city block and houses the offices for the Richmond Symphony Orchestra and the Virginia Performing Arts Foundation.
